IMT/4G - Broadband PPDR - Satellite: decisions to take
At the WRC-15 in November 2015, decisions are to be taken in one month on three major items: IMT/4G, Broadband PPDR and satellite.
A number of bands below 6 GHz are candidates for IMT technologies in Europe including the 700 MHz band.
In Europe, a minimum of 2×10 MHz is requested for Broadband PPDR. Channelling of the 700 MHz band is still being debated.
This report presents the major WRC-15 agenda items.
1. Key lessons from WRC-12 and key topics for WRC-15
1.1. Lessons from the last World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-12)
1.2. WRC-15 (2-27 Nov. 2015,Geneva): focus on potential new frequency bands for mobile
2. New frequency bands for IMT
2.1. Candidate bands for IMT for WRC-15: seeking >1000 MHz of spectrum
2.2. Candidate bands for IMT for WRC-15 (CEPT view)
2.3. Lessons from the last World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-12)
3. New allocations for broadband PPDR
